Eat Drink Love and Chatty Monks, Bringing Indian Flair to Restaurants

Indian cuisine is often seen as a spicy and exotic dish that is unfamiliar to most people. However, Eat Drink Love, Sambar Kitchen, and Palace Foods are working together alongside the newly owned restaurant, Chatty Monks, to change the unjust perception of this delicate cuisine. They also hope to expand their company’s reach beyond just Indian food and create more fusion dishes.

Indian food has long been misunderstood outside of its roots because it was not readily available abroad until recently. This situation led many people who had never tasted Indian flavors before into thinking that anything associated with it would be too spicy or foreign. Thankfully Eat Drink Love’s mission and goals align with breaking this stigma on Indian cuisine.

What Is Eat Drink Love?

Eat Drink Love (EDL) is a family-owned business that aims to inspire other restaurants to add Indian flair to their menu with their values and goals being reflected in their company name. They are currently the parent company of Sambar Kitchen and Palace Foods. These companies provide:

  • Sambar Kitchen brings their family’s recipes into your kitchen. They believe that you shouldn’t be filling your body with unnatural fillers.  Instead, they use all-natural and authentic ingredients in their variety of gourmet Indian sauces and spices.
  • Palace Foods is a manufacturing company that also co-packages the highest quality food products.

Partnering with both and bringing Chatty Monks into the mix, EDL will soon complete their dreams of bringing Indian flair and cuisine to restaurants everywhere in their reach.

Incorporating Sambar Kitchen Sauces In Chatty Monks’ Menu

Sambar Kitchen and Palace Foods are looking to serve Sambar sauces in the newly-owned restaurant Chatty Monks. In fact, Sambar Kitchen sauces are currently used in two specific Chatty Monks’ menu, including:

  • Lemon Rice & Cooking Sauce: A tangy sauce is perfect for rice and elevates its flavor, delivering an unexpected flavor to your palate when you order the Lemon Rice and Cooking Sauce.
  • Paneer Jalfrezi: The Paneer Jalfrezi is a dish that Sambar Kitchen was initially known for. This paneer-based dish is similar to curry and pairs well with rice or naan.

Why Indian Food?

The answer is simple: heritage. Sambar Kitchen does not use any artificial ingredients in its food products, unlike most brands today. Their sauces are made from scratch with minimal preservatives to ensure that they taste as great as they can be. Just like they would if you were traveling through the streets of India.

The EDL team strongly believes in using organic and all-natural ingredients while delivering healthy, delicious meals. In addition, they use all-natural herbs and spices to give their dishes the flavors they are known for.

The Future Of Indian Cuisine In the United States

Rajavel Jagadesan, his wife Kelly, and his two exceptionally talented and creative daughters purchased the 7-year-old restaurant Chatty Monks. The family already had their hands in food processing at Palace Foods and Sambar Kitchen, so they decided to grow their current reach into an established restaurant to fulfill their objectives.

Now that you understand the extensive commitment behind EDL, it may be time to try out the beautiful flavors for yourself at Chatty Monks. Of course, if you do not live near the restaurant, you could always head over to Sambar Kitchen and have it delivered to your home or if you want to introduce the cuisine to your own restaurant, Palace Foods has you covered. So, let’s help them in their mission to bring delicious Indian cuisine to the world!
